People-focused structure builderApproach.
I see a strategy project as a path that is followed together from the start. Using interactive workshops, knowledge sessions, discussions at all levels within the organisation and based on its own choices, the organisation determines its own strategy. I can direct the process and facilitate with sharp analyses, in-depth knowledge, a challenging role, suggestions, structure, proven methodologies and a large dose of enthusiasm.
History.
I studied Natural Sciences at Utrecht University and Complex Systems Engineering & Management at Delft University of Technology. I have worked for Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN, now part of TNO), The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Alliander and Berenschot and have over 20 years of experience in the energy sector.
Focus.
I assist organisations in both the private and (semi-)public sectors with substantive and process-related (strategic) challenges in the field of the energy transition. These challenges often involve conflicting interests, where my strength lies in bringing stakeholders together and fostering constructive collaboration.
Free time.
I am a father of three daughters, play sports regularly (hockey, running, padel and more), enjoy meeting friends and play guitar in a band.
