Approach.

The more complicated, the better — your brain has to hurt a little. I love solving complex strategic problems. Structured, analytical, astute and fact-based, but with a healthy dose of organisational sensitivity.

History.

I have Master’s degrees in applied physics (TU Delft) and economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam). I have over 20 years of experience as a strategy consultant, first at Quintel Strategy Consulting and now at The Strategy Office. I’ve also been Chief Product Officer at fintech scale-up Blanco, where I was partly responsible for designing and developing the Portfolio & Securities Management and KYC. 

Focus.

Mainly strategy in uncertainty, corporate culture and teamwork.

Free time.

I try to challenge myself personally by slowly but surely getting better at triathlons. I relax with books and films.
